Work less and enjoy the day more. If you can’t work less, struggle less while you work and enjoy work more.
Don’t be constantly available on the phone or social media. Instead, be more available for what is immediate.
Prioritise the quality of your experience before adding “more”. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Communicate honestly and find a way to explain your values, rather than wishing you were what you are not.
Treat those who look after you as special people. Give them gifts of some kind - in a way which works for you.
Put end times on meetings - even the ones you’re looking forward to. You’ll appreciate everything more.
Factor in frequent time slots to literally do nothing. Keep space open and see what comes into your life.
Show yourself love by being ruthlessly selfish and consistent with even one or two small healthy habits.
Make rituals of the ‘things’ in your day. Appreciate the doorway into and the exit from different ‘events’.
Pick the low hanging fruit. Do the bare essentials (eating, sleeping, greeting friends, breathing) very well.
Whenever practical, be early to events so that you have time to enjoy rather than resist the unexpected.
Support creativity, mental health and inner wisdom by doing as much of your work offline as possible.
